Harmonious Week 5
Imagine the strength we would have if all Christians were truly a body of believers. Yes, we all accept Christ as Lord and Savior; but do we accept the fact He died for every single person to achieve redemption? Matthew 7:1-2 declares, judge not lest you be judged. By the same measure you judge, you will be judged also. The church is suffering because the church is not together. The church is suffering because cash has replaced Christ. The world is dying because the light of the world is dimming inside believers’ bulbs through ignorance, complacency, and a false sense of entitlement.
We glow from Christ, not because we are the main attraction. Our light should shine to show Jesus and not self. Our light should shine to show love. We, the church, should be a beacon of hope that is not exclusive. We need to embrace all people, so everyone has the opportunity to hear the Gospel and make their own decision. We should share redemption with those who believe that they cannot overcome their faults and flaws. The following four ideas will show us how to reach out to others. But I also want to be sure that we learn to reach out and be servants of the Most High with the right motivations for helping others.
